Breaking News: The Trump administration has just made a shocking deal with French energy giant TotalEnergies that could change the face of America's energy landscape forever. According to sources, the administration has agreed to let TotalEnergies off the hook for nearly $1 billion in offshore wind leases off the coasts of North Carolina and New York, in exchange for investing the same amount in U.S. oil and gas production. But that's not all - TotalEnergies has also pledged to abandon any future offshore wind projects in the U.S., citing concerns that these investments are not in the country's best interest.
